The Dillon Chinook mount is a re-creation of the General Dynamics mount with the only change being a reduction of 5 pounds from the total weight. The mount is a bi-fold design which occupies either the right side window or the left side doorway. Its design allows for quick removal and stowing in the event the window or door is needed for egress or ingress. The post pintle is a standard 2.25-inch and accepts the Dillon Vertical Arm.
The Dillon Chinook Weapon Mount is now in service with the US Army.
