Dillon makes three External Beam Mounts for the UH-1 series utility helicopters. These simple, light weight "plug and play" designs allow for a variety of installation options depending on aircraft configuration. These mounts pick up factory installed hard points on the belly of the aircraft. They consist of two main support arms, a cross beam, a vertical post, a vertical arm, and between one and three vertical post positions. Installation can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. The post pintle is a standard 2.25-inch and accepts the Dillon Vertical Arm.
Dillon UH-1 mounts are in service now and have had millions of rounds expended on them.
